Mohawk College of Applied Arts and Technology is a public College of Applied Arts and Technology in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. It has three main campuses: the Fennell Campus on the Hamilton Mountain, the Stoney Creek Campus in Stoney Creek, and the Mohawk-McMaster Institute for Applied Health Sciences at McMaster University

Mohawk College first started granting diplomas in 1966, and has since grown into one of the largest provincially funded colleges in the province. Each year averages approximately 10,000 full-time students, and 40,000 part-time students. The most popular programs continue to be in Engineering Technology and Business.

 Mohawk College also has a well known Nursing program, a joint program with McMaster University. Mohawk College Brantford campus Department of Public Safety and Security studies is well known and held in high regard for its Law Enforcement programs Police Foundations, Corrections, and Law and Security.

International Student Services and Mohawk College know that finding new friends can be difficult. Learn about your various options below:

On Campus Housing (Residence): Mohawk College Residence is awarded to International students by lottery because of the demand. There are a number of rooms set aside for international students - apply early. All students living on campus are required to purchase a mandatory meal plan from the options available to them.

  Fennell Campus Student Residence:     There are 171 suites (342-bed) at the Student Residence at Fennell campus. Features include shared two bedroom air conditioned suite with oversized double bed, kitchen with microwave and refrigerator, three-piece bathroom, cable, internet and light housekeeping service. It is a fully secured building with many on site facilities such as game room, movie lounge, laundry and kitchen etc.

Homestay: The Homestay program allows  international visa students a chance to live with a Canadian family. This offers several benefits: 1. make new friends easily, 2. learn casual English as it is used in day-to-day life, 3. witness and experience Canadian culture first hand and much more. Canada Homestay Network will assist in making arrangements for interested students.

Off Campus Housing: The student life office receives calls everyday from landlords who wish to host students in their homes. Student life provides an interactive off-campus search tool for students who wish to find their own accommodation outside of the Mohawk College campus.
