Bow Valley College (BVC) is a public, board-governed college operating as a comprehensive community institution under the Post-Secondary Learning Act of Alberta.

Founded in 1965, Bow Valley College is located in Calgary, Alberta.  Its main campus is conveniently located right in the downtown heart of Calgary, with its other 18 branches spread out across the province. BVC belongs to the Alberta Rural Development Network.

BVC offers year-round programs that lead to career certificates and diplomas, as well as adult upgrading and English language learning. They also offer career services and specialized services that help newcomers to Canada.

As an international student, you are eligible for a number of International Students Scholarships There are also several recognition awards for top performers during the school term.

The International Education Department offers a selection of 22 scholarships and awards focused on international learners. There are Entrance Scholarships for the  new learners, Learner Pathway Awards for learners transitioning from one program to another, In-course Awards for current learners. The  awards celebrate learners who demonstrate strength in attributes of leadership, volunteerism, community involvement, peer support and academic excellence.

Bow Valley College offers academic aid bursaries for eligible learners who face a financial or academic challenge which is a barrier to their studies. Bursaries are included but not limited to technology software, hardware, and tutoring services.
