Admission Requirements: 

 Require scanned copies of original certified secondary school graduation transcripts for diploma and degree programs, and any college or university transcripts for postgraduate programs and degree programs. All documents must be accompanied by a notarized, official translation into English (where applicable).

Secondary requirements may include a portfolio, audition, letter of intent, references, etc., and vary by program. View program pages for detailed info on these requirements, where applicable.

Admission to a Bachelor’s Degree program

To be eligible you must possess the equivalent of an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and required courses as noted on specific program

Equivalencies

•             One of the following certificates with a minimum grade of 65 or above in required program subjects:

o             All India Senior School Certificate/Higher Secondary School Certificate

o             Year 12 State Board Exams

o             Include transcripts for any post-secondary courses or programs completed

Admission to a Post-Secondary Diploma or Certificate program

To be eligible you must possess the equivalent of an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and required courses as noted on specific program

•             One of the following certificates with a minimum grade of 60 or above in required program subjects:

o             All India Senior School Certificate/Higher Secondary School Certificate

•             Bachelor’s degree placed in the First Division/Class, university transcripts (Consolidated Transcripts are Not Acceptable), and backlog summary

•             Maximum Backlogs Attempts Accepted

o             Bachelor’s degree- 3 year: 3 backlog attempts

o             Bachelor’s degree: 4 year: 6 backlog attempts

o             Master’s degree: 4 backlog attempts

o             10+3 Curriculum: 4 backlog attempts

Students whose English and/or math score does not meet Humber’s requirements cannot request additional testing to determine admission, as distance testing is no longer offered.

Humber College offers residences for students at the North and Lakeshore Campuses.

Humber student housing provides an ideal balance of independent living, social life, security and convenience. The North Campus residences house 1,000 students and the Lakeshore Campus residence houses 400.

 The North Residence is located by the Humber Arboretum and features three interlinked buildings with both single and suite-style rooms.

 The Lakeshore Residence is located west of downtown Toronto and offers suite-style rooms.

Both residences offer themed floors which include extended quiet floors, single gender floors and Living and Learning Communities. Additional amenities include study rooms, a community kitchen that can be used for group cooking, exercise room (North only), recreational space and laundry facilities.

•             Both campuses have secure environments, Campus Security Staff patrols regular 24/7

•             Students will have the opportunity to participate in regular Residence events, such as open mic nights, movie nights, coffee houses, and even the infamous Haunted Arbwalk tradition

Off Campus:

There are many options for living off-campus. Please note that the International Centre is not responsible for the information provided by Places4Students and other renting websites. The prices and conditions are not part of Humber College’s tuition and should be negotiated directly by the student with the housing provider.

Humber's Residence Department also provides students with access to an online database of off-campus rental accommodations near both the Lakeshore and North campuses.

HOMESTAY:

Students looking for a welcoming place to live and wanting to add an enriching element to their Canadian experience can consider a homestay option. Homestay providers coordinate accommodations with a host family, which helps ease the transition into life in a new country.

 

 

 

Humber offers full and partial renewable tuition scholarships for NEW international undergraduate students .

Humber offers scholarships to international students who have demonstrated academic excellence. A variety of scholarships are available including renewable, entrance and degree scholarships.

International  Entrance  Scholarships

The scholarships are divided throughout our three semesters each year. Applications will be considered based on academics, community involvement, referee/reference letters and statement of interest.

Humber awards degree scholarships automatically to graduating high school students based on academic achievement.

In addition to the scholarships offered by the International Centre, there are other awards, bursaries, and scholarships available to international students from Humber and external, government, corporate, or community organizations. Please read the eligibility criteria carefully before applying.
