Founded in 1942, FDU is New Jersey's largest private University, serving nearly 12,000 graduate and undergraduate students, including more than 1,000 international students from around the world. The University's two U.S. campuses are in northern New Jersey, near New York City. In addition to the Vancouver Campus, the University owns and operates a campus in Wroxton, England.

The Vancouver Campus is operated through the Fairleigh Dickinson University of British Columbia Foundation, which is a not-for-profit entity in British Columbia, Canada.

This modern, high-tech “city campus” is located in downtown Vancouver, one of the most scenic, cosmopolitan and multicultural cities in the world. The campus offers undergraduate degrees in Business Administration, Information Technology (IT) and Individualized Studies, as well as a Master of Administrative Science in a friendly atmosphere. Classes follow a trimester calendar that enables you to fast track your studies and earn your degree in less than three years, saving you time and money.

The Overall IELTS requirement is 6.0 Bands with no less than 5.5 Bands, the requirement stands the same for PG Programs also.


• An applicant must have graduated from an accredited or government recognized secondary school or earned a General Education Development (GED) certificate

 • High School Grade Point Average equivalent to Canadian CGPA of 2.5 or higher

    All India Secondary School Certificate with minimum 60% average in all academic subjects.


• Completed a bachelor’s degree from an accredited or recognized post-secondary institution equivalent to a 4 year bachelor’s degree in Canada.

 • Preferred minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.0

Student Housing
FDU’s centrally located campus in downtown Vancouver allows students to choose from a variety of local housing options. The University offers assistance with housing through an off-campus housing board, a homestay referral service, and special arrangements with local student-style accommodations.
One of the most economical ways to meet your living requirements is to live with a Canadian family. Many international students enjoy the opportunity to live with a family and share in the rich and rewarding experiences of a Canadian home life. Students can choose from a variety of locations in the city and different types of homestay plans. If you are new to the Vancouver area, Homestay is a very good option as you get settled in.
There are several affordable accommodation options available not too far from the FDU Campus. These places are suitable for either a short term stay while you settle in, or for longer stays if you want.

Scholarship consideration will be given to all applicants, including freshmen and transfer students, who indicate on their application form to FDU-Vancouver that they would like their application to be considered by the scholarship committee.

Generous scholarships — ranging from $2,700 to $13,500 USD per academic year — will be competitively awarded to academically talented applicants from around the world. Scholarships may be awarded to students who have the equivalent of a 3.00 or higher secondary school grade point average and a TOEFL score of at least 550. Students who submit scores from the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or the American College Test (ACT) may be eligible for higher scholarships. All scholarships are renewable annually, for the life of a student’s program, based on continued academic performance (maintaining a 3.00 GPA or higher).

However, the Global Scholars Scholarship and Global Scholars Grant does require special application.
