Red River College (RRC) is a college located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It is the province’s largest institute of applied learning and applied research, with over 200 degree, diploma and certificate programs and more than 30,000 enrollments annually.

It has a number of campuses located in Winnipeg, Selkirk, Steinbach, Portage la Prairie and Winkler. The two largest campuses are the Notre Dame and the Exchange District in Winnipeg.

With more than 100 career-related programs — plus hundreds of courses — available part-time via classroom or distance delivery, RRC provides flexible, accessible, quality education designed to help students succeed. IELTS – a minimum band of 6.5 in Reading, Listening, and Speaking, and a minimum of 6.0 in Writing

Entrance requirements include: equivalent or Canadian high school Grade 12, specific program prerequisites, and advanced language skills.

Red River College Residence

Located at 504 Main Street inside the Paterson GlobalFoods Institute at the Exchange District Campus, Red River College’s student residence is the perfect home away from home. Red River College’s student residence offers modern, air-conditioned single bedroom and two bedroom suites with meal plans.

With furnished residence rooms, meal plans for delicious food, and a location that can’t be beat, the residence keeps you connected to one of Winnipeg’s most vibrant neighbourhoods.

The residence also features a shared laundry room and several common areas that have WiFi and are available for study, entertainment, and socializing.

Resident Assistants are on duty in the evening and on holidays and weekends. Red River College’s student residence is the perfect home away from home.

Off-Campus Accommodations

The local area has a variety of off-campus rental housing options including single homes, duplexes, apartments and rooms for rent. Students wishing to live off-campus need to research availability on their own and should arrive well before the start of term to do so.

Homestay

There are a wide variety of homestay options available, and partners do their best to match students and hosts according to their interests and preferences. Homestay hosts include single people, young couples with children and pets, and older couples. All homestay accommodations have been inspected, and all adults in the home have completed a required criminal reference check.
