Collegium Civitas does not offer campus accommodation but finding a suitable place to live in Warsaw is not a problem. When it comes to accommodation in Warsaw, there are several options to consider, depending on your lifestyle, personal requirements and financial situation. Collegium Civitas has reserved accommodation in a Student Hall of Residence, either in the old building or the new building. The old building is located in the student district “Przyjazn” (“Friendship”) and offers common toilets and showers and Internet access in each room. The new building is called “Jelonek” and offers furnished rooms with a common kitchen, TV hall, a gym, laundry facilities, and Internet access. The price of accommodation for Collegium Civitas students (those on the list for lodging from the university) is significantly reduced compared to the regular cost. The houses are in an excellent location, near recreational areas, bike paths, grocery stores and just a quick hop by public transport to the city center and the university. You can rent a flat or a room in a “student flat” (a flat rented by several students together) or a room in a house/flat occupied by its owners. Living in a student flat is likely to be less complicated. Depending on the situation – there could be single, double or even multi-bed rooms. The cost of such accommodation in Warsaw depends on the area and standard, and ranges from 300 to 500 euros per month. Finding accommodation in Warsaw might take a while. Be prepared to stay overnight in a hotel or a cheaper place like a youth hostel.
