About University: Anyone who goes to Hull will tell you it's friendly and down to earth, with a diverse population and a very low cost of living. No wonder it rates highly for student satisfaction. And it's no slouch when it comes to the smarts, either. It has a strong research reputation and its teaching is very well regarded: more than two-thirds of students emerge with a first or 2:1. The Hull campus is 15 minutes' bus journey from the city centre and there are plenty of student-friendly bars and venues to investigate. On campus, there's been major investment in facilities including a £28m library redevelopment completed earlier in 2015 and new luxury student accommodation worth £30m in the pipeline for 2016.
