Bursaries: Bursaries worth £1,000 are available to UK and EU students from families with a household income of £25,000 per annum or less, who are paying fees over £6,000, or over £4,500 if part-time, per year.

Other financial support packages include sports scholarships (of up to £1,000 per annum), care leavers' bursary (of £1,200 per annum) and music and performing arts scholarships (of up to £300) for students in the school of music and performing arts.

The Broadstairs Bursary Scheme of £1,500 over the three years of study (£500 per annum) is available to students who attend school or college in Thanet, Dover or Shepway; are engaged in the UCAS application process; applying to begin their first year of study on one of the courses taught at the Broadstairs Campus in 2015. Applicants must make a firm acceptance of an offer made to them by the University before 14 July in the year of entry.

Choral, Organ & Conducting Scholarships available to all undergraduate and postgraduate students regardless of subject: 12 scholarships for choral singers of £800 each, £300 of which must be spent on singing / instrumental lesson fees; three organist/conductor scholarships of £1000 each, £300 of which must be used to pay for training/teaching in organ/conducting.

UG: Successful completion of standard 12th with 60% average and one further year of study.

PG: High Second Class degree, 55% or equivalent.

IELTS Requirements:

UG: All applicants for undergraduate programmes will need a minimum English level of 6.0 IELTS. Some programmes require 6.5.

PG: For postgraduate entry all applicants will need a minimum of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
